Nintendo made it fairly clear that they would be showing off Super Mario Odyssey during their Nintendo Spotlight presentation during the week of E3 2017. The presentation itself was focused on Nintendo Switch games, but highlighted by Super Mario Odyssey.
Well, thanks to the Nintendo Spotlight presentation we got another look at Super Mario Odyssey. The gameplay shown off revealed a bunch of hat (Cappy) mechanics, including the hats ability to allow Mario to take over the bodies of things (people… dinosaurs… whatever his hat captures).
