EA Access, the subscription program for Xbox One owners that allows them to play a selection of EA games such as Need for Speed Rivals, Battlefield 4 and Madden 25 all for only $4.99 a month, will be giving its subscribers a brief taste of Battlefield Hardline on March 12th.
Players will be able to download Battlefield Hardline five days prior to its official launch on March 17th, and experience both the narrative single-player portion as well as the fast-paced multiplayer. While the entirety of the multiplayer content will be available, only the prologue and first chapter will be available in the game's single-player portion.
The trial is capped at 10 hours, which seems fair considering that subscribers are essentially getting a free first look at an unreleased Battlefield game, outside of its beta period.
I'm not an EA subscriber myself, mainly because a lot of the game available on the service, I already own, but $5 a month doesn't seem like a bad deal to play an unlimited amount of select EA games, and get early access to upcoming blockbusters. However, keep in mind that the program is only available to Xbox One owners.
