EA Community Manager, Daniel Lingen, is hyping up Skate 4 on Twitter

EA should just stop pretending like they don't have Skate 4 in the works because they clearly do. Fans have provided all the free hype the company could ever want, and it's the closest thing EA has to their own Half-Life 3, Shenmue 3, The Last Guardian, or Final Fantasy XV. While Skate 4 is certainly not even close to the mythical status of those four, Skate fans have made plenty of noise, even going so far as to start an aptly named "Make EA Skate Again" petition.

EA's Community Manager, Daniel Lingen recently sent out a simple tweet that has now accrued over 7.5K retweets and over 16K likes. Here's the tweet.

Yeah, fans should probably stop having any worries or doubts. Skate 4 is 99.9% likely to be a thing as Community Managers can get into a boatload of trouble for these types of things, so this tweet is definitely an internally planned event. EA is just waiting to create their own magical moment where they play Hero of the People and make you cry into your keyboards when they show off the game "the fans want," or something to that effect. But hey, it works, and fans eat it up without question. I know I'm guilty of doing so.

Between the petition, the Instagram attacks, the release of Skate 3 on Xbox One backwards compatibility, and the extended amount of time in between releases, a Skate 4 reveal feels like it's just over the horizon.
