Battlefield 3 may have just released, but that hasn't stopped EA from looking forward. In what could be the first confirmation of a step down the Call of Duty road, EA President Frank Bigeau announced during a keynote at the University of Souther California, "There is going to be a Battlefield 4."
He did not say when, however. Given that Battlefield 3 was EA's biggest launch ever, shipping 10 million copies worldwide in one day, this is hardly a surprise.
This announcement does come in the form of a Twitter post by an attendee at the keynote speech. Without confirmation from EA themselves, it's going to be hard to belive. It could just be a kid trying to grab some attention, in which case he has succeeded.
