Through their EA Play label, Electronic Arts has revealed the development of a 3D gardening game set to release alongside Nintendo’s upcoming 3D handheld, the 3DS. My Garden allows players to digitally cultivate their own gardens with a variety of flowers and plant life, and will be unveiled at TGS this week.
“With My Garden, our aim was simple: to make something beautiful that comes to life on the Nintendo 3DS like no other platform,” said Rod Humble, Executive Vice President of the EA Play Label. “We hope to offer a game that’s so immersive that it truly brings the delight of owning a garden to life through a visually stunning 3D experience.”
Players will have a sidekick named Tanuki to help them out as they create gardens in six different environments, snap pictures of their work with a free-roaming in-game camera, and gain new exotic plants and flowers. For more information, check out www.ea.com/mygarden.
