El Presidente returns in Tropico 5, coming 2014

El Presidente is back! Or will be, in 2014, with the release of Tropico 5, the next installment of the popular city-builder series. Kalypso confirmed the games release for Xbox 360, PC, and Mac for next year and even provided a nice video of how El Presidente spends his time when not planning global domination.

The big draw this time around seems to be the addition of cooperative and competitive multiplayer for up to four players. Other than that, the game appears to refine the core mechanics in the series which sees you take control of the infamous island of Tropico during early colonial times and guide it through the centuries as the world changes.
