Elder Scrolls Online Homestead update drops today, allows property purchases

Along with the Morrowind gameplay trailer today, Bethesda also released an update for Elder Scrolls Online, the Homestead update. First announced back in December, the Homestead update allows you to purchase properties for the first time, as well as your very own island in the Elder Scrolls Online.

There will be over 40 different types of properties you can purchase that are all modeled after the different races in the game. The first property is free through a tutorial quest with follow-up purchases to cost in-game currency. Of course, you will be able to choose from over 2,000 decorations to place inside your home to make sure it has that special, personal touch.

The update itself is free, but real estate can be purchased with in-game gold or through the Crown store. The update is available now on both Xbox One and PS4, as well as PC.
