It looks like Disney and Pixar are moving forward with the Finding Nemo sequel, as Ellen DeGeneres is in talks to reprise her role as Dory, the blue tang fish who has short-term memory loss.
Finding Nemo 2 already has a 2016 release date projected, and has Victoria Strouse writing the script with Lindsey Collins producing. Writer/Director Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, John Carter) is returning to direct the sequel to the 2003 film. Finding Nemo, which won an Academy award for best animated feature, is still the highest-grossing original Pixar movie, and it's getting a 3D release in theaters next month.
Hopefully once the script is finished, we can get some details on what the sequel will entail.
