Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold allows for classic gameplay mechanics

In the main story of Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold, your party will be fixed. What this means is that certain characters will have to take up specific classes or have less access to true variety. Whle story is always great, what about that true customizable Etrian experience!?

Don’t worry, Atlus has you covered. This is where ‘Classic Mode’ comes to play in in this dungeon crawling RPG. Through the finding of Grimoire with your slim-witch like fingers, you’ll be able customize your characters’ class and use other class’ skills to make the perfect characters.
