CD Projekt RED (CDPR) revealed that there will be a day one patch for Witcher 3. The patch will optimize gameplay on the Xbox One by scaling the resolution from 900p to 1080p. CDPR is taking a stand against the current trend of DLC and will be offering both free and paid content for Witcher 3 owners. With its paid DLC, CDPR hopes to add content that doesn't mirror current DLC for games, but rather expansions of old, meaning providing a sizeable chunk of gameplay.
