Evolve’s hunt begins in October

2K and developer Turtle Rock Studios have announced that the upcoming multiplayer shooter Evolve will be released worldwide on October 21, 2014. It'll be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Evolve is currently available for pre-order, and anyone who pre-orders from participating retailers will receive the Monster Expansion Pack. This bonus pack includes the Savage Goliath skin at launch, and a new monster character that will be released after Evolve's launch.

For those unfamiliar, Evolve is a multiplayer shooter in which a group of four hunters face off against a single, player-controller monster. It's set on an alien planet in the distant future and players are tasked with hunting their prey in 4v1 matches. At PAX East in April we had a chance to go hands-on with Evolve playing as both the hunters and the monster.
