After having revealed the plans for upcoming DLC for Fallout 4 (which you could potentially get for free), the developers took to the 2016 DICE Summit to participated in a couple of talks. During the event, the Fallout 4 and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim director Todd Howard spoke on what was going on at Bethesda.
Since Fallout 4's future has been put on paper, it looks like the studio has enough time to be hard at work on not one, but three "long-term projects." Howard did not detail the projects, but teased that we would be hearing about them in the future.
"We have three longer-term projects we're doing that are all…we'll talk about them at a much future date," said Howard. "But they're different than anything we've done before while also being a Bethesda-style game; big and crazy. But in many ways different than things we've done before."
Howard's emphasis on the games being revealed "at a much future date" is a little disappointing, but it's nice to hear that the developers are branching out and trying new things with their upcoming projects. Hopefully these projects see the light of day…
