There's nothing more annoying than having your companions die repeatedly – equipped with the very same items they were developed in. At least in Fallout 4 you can tailor your companions to your liking, including Dogmeat.
That's right, you can equip armor, goggles, or bandanas on Dogmeat. You might have thought against trying it as he's a dog, but war dogs get armor… So why can't Dogmeat?
Anyway, if you're looking to equip any of your companions with items – here's what to do:
- Open up trade with your companion.
- Select the item you'd like them to equip.
- Press Y/Triangle.
There you have it, now you can go off into the wasteland, find a random set of gear and watch your companions run around in it. I challenge you to make the most ridiculous looking companions you can!
