Famke Janssen drops hints that she may be in ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’

It's not the X-Men without Jean Grey, right? Well, even with Jean Grey, I don't consider X-Men: The Last Stand an X-Men movie. So it makes me happy that X-Men: First Class did their own thing and just ignored the previous trilogy (let's not get into continuity). With the next film, X-Men: Days of Future Past, there's multiple timelines and time travel involved, so it would make sense to see future versions of the characters we had in First Class. But that's not all, we could see characters from the original trilogy, as well. Recently, Patrick Stewart hinted that we might see him reprise his role of Professor X.

Now, Famke Janssen has hinted at her return to the X-Men franchise, too. The last time we saw her, she was taken over by Phoenix and lay dead in Wolverine's arms. Speaking with MTV News, she couldn't say anything about a possible return in Days of Future Past, but hinted, "One never knows. Jean Grey, the Phoenix… she finds a way to reincarnate herself constantly, so on enever knows."

X-Men: Days of Future Past releases July 18, 2014.
