Indie developers continue to show support for PlayStation's consoles as Polytron announced that Fez will be coming to the PS3, PS4, and PlayStation Vita.
"Making Fez happen has been such an incredible journey, and we are truly thrilled to see our game come to PlayStation platforms," Polytron producer Marie-Christine Bourdua said.
Blit Software, makers of the PS3 and Vita versions of Spelunky, will be handling Fez's development for PlayStation platforms as well; although, Polytron is working with them "to provide a smooth, pixel-perfect version of Fez, with every bit of content to explore that the game is known for."
For those unfamiliar, Fez is a 2D platformer set in a 3D world. You play as the Fez-wearing Gomez, who is sent on a journey once the existence of a mysterious 3rd dimension is revealed to him. Fez is unique in that there are no enemies, bosses, combat, or any type of conflict really. The game is all about creating a "non-threatening world rich with ambiance, a pleasant place to spend time in." Of course, there are tons of secrets to uncover and treasures to find.
