Fight for your life in the new Evil Within trailer

Do you know when your best option is to run away instead of fight an enemy head-on in a game? When it comes to The Evil Within, you better learn how and when to make that distinction.

Bethesda is nice enough to give us a hand, well kind of.  They were actually nice enough to show us pictures of the monsters that will be terrorizing and a “you might want to try this” when it comes to The Keeper.

Here are some keys to success in The Evil Within:

• Be resourceful: There are plenty of puzzles that are out there to kill you…or kill the guys chasing you, if you’re quick enough. You’re not an ammo magnet in the the game, so ‘spray and pray’ is not the best option here.
• Don’t be afraid to be a chicken: Running away can be perfectly acceptable.
• Be sneaky: Sneaking around an enemy and grabbing them from behind might be the best way of going about a kill. Some are just too strong head-on.
• Ration, ration, ration: Ration those bullets! And the scraps you find! And medkits! Ration all things!
