Final Fantasy XV already seeing discounts in Japan

Final Fantasy XV hasn’t even been out a full month and already the game is seeing a significant discount in Japan.

NeoGAF users are posting images of local stores selling the new game for some insane discounts. At DORAMA stores, the regular edition dropped from 8,800 yen ($77.08) to 5,980 yen ($52.38), which is about a 32% discount.

Deluxe editions of the game are also being discounted, and it may have to do with the fact there are so many second hand copies of the game.

If only these discounts made their way to the U.S. this soon.

Final Fantasy XV has been one of Square’s more successful entries in the series so far, shipping 5 million copies since it’s launch. The game has been reviewing rather well, and we here at Gamezone enjoyed FFXV save for a wonky camera and some other design choices.

Meantime, Final Fantasy XV is getting plenty of updates in the not too distant future, and we’ve got plenty of guides to help you get through the game.
