It's raining Final Fantasy news, earlier we heard about the fancy Type-0 PlayStation 4 and now we get to check out the Jump Festa Final Fantasy XV trailer. If you haven't heard of Jump Festa, it's an annual event centered on anime and manga – but also acts somewhat like a gaming convention in Japan (it sounds like a Japanese Comic Con).
Other than a road trip oddly similar to Britney Spears' Crossroads, I have no idea what's going on in the Final Fantasy XV trailer…but I love it. The gameplay, the cinematics, the beasts, everything about it looks pretty fantastic (hopefully that's not the hype speaking).
This trailer shows off a character we've seen since Final Fantasy 2 – Cid or Cidney as we know her now – she's the mechanic (if you're wondering who I'm talking about). The game looks to be huge, especially in the city. The trailer doesn't say much on release dates, but we can expect the Episode Duscae demo for Final Fantasy XV sometime after March (considering the Type-0 Collector's Edition will give you access to the demo and it releases in March).
