Final Fantasy XV is already a pretty good looking game, but as PC gamers can attest, if there's anything that makes a game look better, it's 60 FPS. Final Fantasy XV was previously seen running at 60 FPS on a PS4 Pro some months ago, but when the game launched, the updated console did not support the uptick in frames. That is about to change according to Square Enix's latest Active Time Report, as a patch will roll out on February 21st, that will run the game at 60 FPS.
That's not the only update arriving on the 21st either. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect to see.
Speaking of PC gamers, Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata recently revealed his interest in porting the game over to PC, something which has long been rumored. He mentioned a desire to see fans be able to create and implement their own quests via modding, which wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility. Square Enix has made a concerted effort in recent years to porting Final Fantasy titles over for sale on Steam, with a better looking Final Fantasy 9 and a version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster releasing only last year.
Final Fantasy XV is currently available now for Xbox One and PS4.
