There are a lot of things to consider when developing a game, especially when it comes to the characters that players will be interacting with the most.
Turtle Rock Studios has been working on bringing the best version Evolve into the hands of players as soon as they can, without cutting corners. The games 'Hunters' – the guys hunting down the Monsters – were born from speculation, theory and good ol' trial and error.
There are four classes of Hunters in Evolve, each character has their own distinct load-out – but how did Turtle Rock think of the item sets for each Hunter? When developing the characters the studio first focused on the charaters having the tools they need to fight the monsters, then on how exactly they would fight the monsters. From there they built each class, each load-out and each character.
Adam Sessler went to the Turtle Rock Studio to uncover more on the creation of the Hunters, check it out in the video above.
Evolve is set to release on February 10, 2015.
