Microsoft is still working on the "finishing touches" of this month's Xbox One update. The first major update for the system was supposed to release yesterday, but Microsoft announced early in the morning that it would be delayed temporarily, offering no full explanation.
Reaching out for further clarification a Microsoft spokesperson told GameZone, "We've been slightly delayed and are still working on the finishing touches. We'll roll out the update as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience."
The update is still expected to release some time this week, but we've yet to hear a solid date. When it does release, the update will offer "many new improvements," including a lot of behind-the-scenes updates for developers building apps and games for the new system. Additionally, Xbox One consumers will see the return of the battery power indictor, support for USB keyboards, and the ability to see and manage storage space on the console.
