Ratchet & Clank PS4 is set to launch on April 12, shortly before its accompanying film releases on April 29. Ahead of the platforming duo’s PS4 debut, developer Insomniac Games recently revealed the first boxed copy of “the game, based on the movie, based on the game.”
Though not quite as impressive as the Ratchet statues Insomniac has on guard, the box art features two notable bits of information. Firstly, the game is proudly single-player only, a unicorn quality in today’s industry. Secondly, as previous PlayStation Network posts suggested, the game requires under 30 GB of space, another rare quality.
Here’s the official box blurb:
“Ratchet & Clank (PS4 system) is a reimagination of the original Ratchet & Clank (PS2 system). Developed alongside the animated picture coming to theaters in 2016, Ratchet & Clank marks the PlayStation 4 debut of PlayStation’s greatest heroes. Join Ratchet, Clank, Captain Qwark and new friends as they battle to save the Solana Galaxy from the evil Chairman Drek.”
