For Honor will be getting an Open Beta that finishes up two days before it releases

For Honor's closed beta just finished wrapping up over the weekend, and while gamers have been talking at length about the game's prospects across the internet, one little detail appears to have leaked to a Twitch Prime user. In a thread on NeoGAF, a poster known as Strakt posted a screenshot of an email they received from Twitch regarding Prime benefits with For Honor.

The email contains a number of interesting details, but most importantly, the email reveals that For Honor will indeed be hosting an Open Beta starting on February 9th and running through the 12th, just two days before its release on Valentines Day, February 14th. Ubisoft will also be running a special live stream on February 7th featuring a 12 player competition with special celebrity guests that will also go into more detail about the Open Beta.

For Honor is Ubisoft's first major title of 2017 and is set to have a Season Pass that will function similarly to Rainbow Six: Siege. Just to recap, For Honor's Open Beta will run from February 9th-12th before the game releases in full on February 14th, 2017.
