Although the whole Kojima/Konami debacle is over and we've learned about the sad details, Kojima seems to still want to get back to the massive company. Who can blame him? They screwed him over pretty badly!
To get back at Konami, Kojima has been recruiting a number of former employees of Konami. The most recent and biggest one is Shinji Hirano, former president of Konami Europe. A writer for The Koalition was updating his LinkedIn profile when he realized Hirano had updated his own!
Upon further investigation, he found out Hirano's last month at Konami was in March and he began his new employment at Kojima Productions as president in November. The company has been working on their first game (Death Stranding) since they opened their doors and partnered with PlayStation last December. The game has no current release date but will star Mads Mikkelsen (Doctor Strange, Casino Royale, and Rogue One) and Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead and the canceled Silent Hills).
