Unreal's Fortnite, a game that has been in development or talked about since 2011, is finally available to play, albeit in early access. We've covered Fortnite before and what the game offers, like 4 player co-op, crafting, looting and fighting off leagues of the undead. But enough talk, it's time to play!
While the game is intended to be free-to-play at launch, anyone looking to play the early access build will have to pony up at least $40 (€39.99/£34.99). While that may sound steep to some, you do get some exclusive content that those at retail launch won't, such as; 4 exclusive in-game banner icons, 6 daily loot pinata packs, and an exclusive "founder's" loot pinata pack. To see all the early access tiers, head over to our previous coverage. There are a few options that offer some exclusive heroes too.
With the official launch of early access, Unreal has released a new "Launch" trailer.
The Fortnite Early Access build is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac.
