During last night's PC Gaming Show at E3 2015, Blizzard announced that a batch of prologue missions, collectively titled Whispers of Oblivion, will be released ahead of StarCraft 2's next expansion, Legacy of the Void.
Whispers of Oblivion will exist as a three-mission series that will bridge the storyline between Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void, the second and third expansions, respectively.
Whispers of Oblivion will be completely free for everyone, even if you don't own a copy of StarCraft 2 or its expansions. However, if you want early access to the content, you'll need to pre-purchase Legacy of the Void.
An impressive trailer accompanied the announcement, which you can check out above.
