Free-to-play Dungeon Keeper reboot headed to iOS and Android

Electronic Arts is bringing back Peter Molyneux's Dungeon Keeper in a new game aimed at mobile devices.

Bullfrog Productions' strategy game originally released on PC in 1997, so iOS and Android are a different but not surprising choice for a reboot. EA is, like other companies in the game industry, maximizing its cash flow through mobile and digital releases.

Developer Mythic Studio's reboot will include player-versus-player and player-versus-environment options in addition to a single-player mode. The visuals have also undergone a significant change.

Dungeon Keeper is coming to iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Android this winter. It will be free to play.
