Newly founded studio The Fullbright Company has confirmed its first game. Gone Home tasks players with exploring a modern residence and piecing together its history.
Gone Home is currently in an early pre-alpha stage, but the team has shared several in-game screens and a glimpse of the structure they've built so far.
They've also released a work-in-progress video (below) that demonstrates basic core mechanics.
"We’re really interested in pushing toward simulation, both in the sense of the physics system but also in allowing the player to open any door or drawer they’d logically be able to and examine what’s inside, down to small details," the developers wrote on their blog today. "If we do it right, these interactive and simulation elements will work together to make you that much more invested in discovering the story woven into the environment."
Gone Home for PC uses the Unity engine and will support gamepads as well as a mouse and keyboard. Click the thumbnails on the right to view the new screenshots.
