Aside from Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 releasing in October, Game Freak is focusing its efforts on a new independent property called Rhythm Hunter: Harmo Knight, announced at Nintendo Direct.
Game Freak has developed the main Pokemon games since 1996, but the company has made other titles, like Drill Dozer for Game Boy Advance. It didn't, though, make the spin-offs Pokemon Pinball or Pokemon Trading Card Game (that was Jupiter and Hudson Soft, respectively), so the recent Pokemon Conquest from Tecmo Koei isn't exactly an oddity.
Harmo Knight is a music platformer where jumping and attacking complements the background music.
A demo will be released for the eShop, and the full game comes out as a download in Japan on September 5.
According to NeoGAF, the game features music cameos from Pokemon.
