Game Informer reveals its awesome Batman: Arkham Knight cover

UK game retailer Game.co.uk might have jumped the gun a bit prematurely, but it seems like the official confirmation is out. Game Informer has officially revealed its April cover feature, and it is sexy. Like, Batman-standing-next-to-the-batmobile-while-holding-his-cape sexy.

Game Informer's page states that fans have 14 pages of Batman: Arkham Knight to look forward to in April's issue, which will no doubt shed light on the game's story and new gameplay mechanics. You can also check out the first Trailer for the game on their site, which doesn't show any gameplay yet.

As GAME revealed, the Batmobile will now be a core gameplay element allowing players to cruise through a much larger open world Gotham City.

As you've probably guessed from the cover imagery, the Batmobile is finally a core element of the gameplay. An entirely new area of Gotham City, far larger than Arkham City, has much wider streets to accommodate the new driving gameplay that is designed to integrate smoothly with Batman's gliding and grappling traversal. Batman chases down super villains Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, and more.

It looks like Game Informer issues will come in two flavors, the second which can be seen below:

Batman: Arkham Knight has no set release date, but is set to release later this year on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
