Nintendo has confirmed a release date for party title Game & Wario, which consists of 16 minigames designed around the GamePad tablet controller.
Game & Wario is hitting North America on June 23 and will cost $40, which is a little low for a Wii U title. But Joystiq reports that $40 is indeed the MSRP.
The game was originally supposed to launch alongside the Wii U last November. Releasing next month, it's the first Nintendo-developed title to come out since.
Nintendo plans to roll out "a few" Wii U games in the first half of this year, according to company president Satoru Iwata. Delays were caused by Nintendo's underestimation of the resources needed to complete them.
Last month, Nintendo also confirmed an August 4 release date of Pikmin 3.
