GameFly’s Top 10 Games of 2010

GameFly has released their top 10 games from 2010, based on rental activity. Red Dead Redemption edged out Black Ops despite being on fewer platforms, but it was also available for several more months than Activision’s shooter. Red Dead is also known for being popularized by word of mouth rather than ridiculously over-the-top ad campaigns, so it makes sense that many gamers would want to “try before they buy”.

“The GameFly community is comprised of active and dedicated gamers and we view their preferences, requests and favorites as a great barometer for what’s hot in gaming,” said Sean Spector, GameFly co-founder and SVP of Business Development and Content. “We offer a mix of the best new releases as well as hard to find classic games all from an extensive library spanning more than 7000 titles.”

GameFly’s 2010 year-end results are as follows:

1 Red Dead Redemption (PS3, XBOX 360)
