Gamers log over 1.9 billion hours of gameplay with EA titles

Electronic Arts has announced its financial results for the second fiscal quarter ended, September 30, 2014, highlighting the fact that players have logged more than 1.9 billion hours of gameplay with EA titles on console and PC.

"From July [to] September, players engaged with our games in all new ways," EA said in a post that highlighted the record player engagement for the quarter.

Among the impressive stats mentioned include:

  • Over 397 million matches played in FIFA 15
  • 38 million hours  spent playing Madden NFL 15
  • Over 1.1 billion races run in Real Racing 3
  • Approximately 1 million "Woohoos" per day since launch
  • Over 199 million hours played in Battlefield 4
