gamescom 2014: Sony has sold over 10 million PS4s globally

Sony has confirmed that the install base for the PlayStation 4 has now exceeded 10 million units globally. To be clear, that means 10 million PS4s have been sold through to consumers since its launch in November 2013. That's less than 9 month time, so pretty impressive stuff.

Let's hope that's all the business talk for now so that the rest of the conference can focus on upcoming games. We've already seen the debut of Bloodborne gameplay.
