Nintendo Switch came out earlier this month and promptly sold out at most retailers immediately. For those who didn't pre-order, it made getting a Switch quite difficult. A few days ago we were told that GameStop would be restocking soon. We now know it will be on March 22 and it will be accompanied by some sweet trade-in deals.
If you're a gamer on a budget, these trade-ins could help significantly lower the price of a Switch. Trading in a Wii U or a 3DS will net you $150 towards a Nintendo Switch. Trading in an Xbox One will get you $175 while trading in a PlayStation 4 will get you a whopping $200 towards a trade-in.
These deals make the $300 investment much easier if you don't mind getting rid of old consoles. These prices most likely fluctuate depending on what model of console it is you're trading in, so make sure to plan ahead.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Switch has been getting the best scores for the franchise and is the main reason people are buying the console near launch, with many games on the way soon.
