GameStop has revealed its pre-order bonus for upcoming Nintendo 3DS game New Super Mario Bros. 2, which means David Sanchez doesn't have to resort to his "North America doesn't get anything" persona.
Playing off the game's gold-centric new mode, Coin Rush, the U.S. retailer will be offering a gold Mario pin. Unfortunately, the gold Mario pin is being offered only to customers who purchase the game online and it will not be available in stores. So maybe we still can complain?
The gold Mario pin will ship along with New Super Mario Bros. 2 when the game releases in August.
Meanwhile, in the UK, GAME and Gamestation are offering pre-order customers a special gold coin carrying case which can fit a single DS or 3DS cartridge in it. It's a replica of the gold coins Mario will collect in New Super Mario Bros. 2.
So far, that's all that's been announced. Now I ask you, who is getting the better pre-order deal?
