Gauntlet Slayer Edition coming to consoles

"Warrior needs food badly" is the first phrase that instantly popped into my head when I saw this announcement. This saying was overheard so much in the 80's arcades that it was rivaled only by "Body blow, body blow!!". Gauntlet, one of the original multiplayer arcade games, was announced by Warner Bros and Arrowhead Game studios to be coming exclusively to PS4. Gauntlet Slayer Edition will feature the four original characters; Warrior, Wizard, Elf and Valkyrie, each with their own redesigned play style.

The game will also see an all new playable area along with new game modes, abilities, monsters and weapons. Gauntlet Slayer Edition will launch on August 11th for $19.99 and can be pre-ordered from the PlayStation store now. Of course, should you choose to pre-order it, your dedication will be rewarded with the Mordok's Hammer and the Reaper's Visage Helm for the Warrior.
