I'm not sure how good of an offer this is for hardcore Gears fans, but for others, listen up. When you pre-order a copy of Gears of War: Judgment from Walmart, buyers will get a bonus copy of either Gears of War 2 or Gears of War 3. Like I said, fans of the series probably have already played both Gears of War 2 and 3, but this is a mighty fine bonus for those that haven't yet caught up in the series.
According to Walmart's website, the pre-order bundle is priced at $59.96. In addition to the copy of either Gears 2 or 3, it comes with the standard pre-order bonus — the Classic Hammerburst assault rifle for multiplayer and a downloadable copy of the first Gears of War.
If owning a copy of the second or third installments in the Gears franchise isn't the pre-order bonus you're looking for, GameStop PowerUp Reward members get three days of early access to the game's demo when they pre-order Gears of War: Judgment. The demo includes Overrun, a new multiplayer mode. You also get GameStop the exclusive "Young Marcus" character skin and the Lambent Weapon skin.
Gears of War: Judgment is scheduled for a March 19 release on the Xbox 360.
