All I would have to do is say "Anna Kendrick" and most of the internet would instantly watch the trailer for Pitch Perfect 2. That's how insanely popular she is. So, regardless of whether or not you need me introducing this trailer, I'm going to do it.
Kendrick and the Barden Bellas are back in Pitch Perfect 2, and the second trailer shows that they're taking their game to the world stage. The a capella comedy is the sequel to the 2012 hit starring Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Skylar Astin, Ben Platt, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Adam DeVine, Ester Dean, Elizabeth Banks and John Michael Higgins. It made $113M worldwide on a $17M budget, and it's a freaking funny movie — so a sequel was inevitable.
In Pitch Perfect 2, pretty much the entire cast returns as the Barden Bellas compete on a world stage against after a snafu while performing for the President of the United States. So, they go to the World Championships against the Germans. #WorldWar2Boom
Elizabeth Banks is both starring and directing Pitch Perfect 2, which releases in theaters on May 15, 2015.
