Ghost Recon Commander now live on Facebook

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Commander, Ubisoft's tie-in to upcoming shooter Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, is now live on Facebook.

Ghost Recon Commander is a fast-paced tactical combat game designed to introduce players to the Ghost Recon franchise.  Normally considered a "hardcore" franchise, Ghost Recon Commander takes an "approachable and fun for all types of Facebook gamers, including both hardcore and social game players."

Ghost Recon Commander is developed by Loot Drop, co-founded by developers John Romero and Brenda Garno Brathwaite. In it, players will develop their own "Ghost", an elite Special Forces operator utilizing stealth, firepower, and "exciting near future technology to take command of the battlefield against impossible odds."  You can choose from one of three elite Ghost warriors as you fight your way through 10 challenging missions set in near-future Venezuela with three difficulty levels.

You can check out Ghost Recon Commander on Facebook now, though it is still currently in beta.  Ubisoft and Loot Drop say improvements are incoming.
