Nintendo showed off some good, some not-so-good games during their E3 press briefing last week, but one noticeably missing title was Ubisoft's Ghost Recon Online.
The free-to-play PC shooter was confirmed for Nintendo's next console back at E3 2011, but this year Ghost Recon Online was nowhere to be seen. It's not listed on NIntendo's game schedule for 2012 Wii U titles, either.
Speaking to Eurogamer, a Ubisoft spokesperson said their main focus, right now, is delivering the game to PC.
"Our focus has been entirely on delivering a great launch on PC," Ubisoft said. "Achieving that has been an all-hands-on-deck effort for the team this year."
Once they are on "solid ground" with the PC launch, they intend to explore other platform options like the Wii U.
"We'll have more to share later," they said.
Ghost Recon Online is set to launch this year on PC as a free-to-play title. In the meantime, Wii U owners will have to "settle" for other Ubisoft titles like Assassin's Creed 3, ZombiU, and Just Dance 4.
