This May, the PlayStation Vita, PC, and App Store will be home to a super-cute episodic puzzle-adventure called Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery.
Jacob Jones is the newest boy at Camp Eagle Feather, but he's having trouble making friends with anyone — that is, until he meets Bigfoot.
The orange and yellow-flecked beast is a different take on sasquatch than what we're used to, but it fits together with Lucid Games' adorable visuals, where the characters are vinyl toys. This looks like a friendly, stylish game.
"Since the PS Vita system was announced, we firmly believed that developing a casual and accessible title whilst using the latest technology would allow us to create beautifully imagined worlds that sit perfectly on the PS Vita system’s gorgeous screen," Lucid Games founder Nick Davies wrote on the PlayStation Blog today.
Writing Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery is George Poles, a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) award nominee.
Lucid will reveal more details about the game in the coming weeks. Until then, you can check out the teaser trailer below.
The studio's founders were senior developers at Bizarre Creations, which released titles such as Geometry Wars and Blur.
