Godus forgoes required Internet connection to play

Godus, Peter Molyneux's fresh take on his god game Populous, won't require an Internet connection for the single-player mode.

The team behind Godus recently announced, "An online connection is required for online multiplayer and potentially some additional features, but the single-player campaign does not require you to be online in order to be able to play." The Kickstarter now has two days to go and is £30,000 short of its funding goal.

22Cans also uploaded a work-in-progress prototype gameplay video of Godus, which you can view below.
