If you've been holding off on purchasing the Duke Nukem games, you won't want to procastinate any longer. Digital download service GOG has priced Duke Nukem 3D, along with Duke Nukem 1 + 2, Manhattan Project and Ball of Steel at $2.36, a 90% saving for all the games.
That's right, if this were any other day, you would be paying $23.96 for all these games, but not today (or any other day until December 31st). As soon as January 2016 comes, Duke Nukem will be leaving the GOG store (at least for now).
Why are the Duke Nukem games leaving GOG? Apparently, it's because the rights to Duke Nukem have found a new home at Gearbox, after litigation with the former Duke Nukem distributor. According to GOG, the games will be removed from their catalog, but they are "in talks with the new rightsholders to bring them back as swiftly as possible.”
If you own the games, you won't be losing the games – so don't worry about that. If you don't want to purchase the games as a bundle, you can grab them for 75% off per game.
