Kinect Sports Rivals, which was originally planned for release in November as an Xbox One launch title, has been delayed. Rare's Kinect sensor sports game will now miss the Xbox One launch window entirely, Microsoft confirmed.
Using the Xbox One's bundled Kinect, Kinect Sports Rivals features a nice collection of sports minigames for players including climbing, wake racing, soccer, target shooting, bowling and tennis.
The title was delayed so that Rare would have extra time to polish the game without compromising the game's quality. Kinect Sports Rivals is now slated for a spring 2014 release but will be playable for the first time at PAX Prime and Gamescom this August.
