GTA 5 Cheats: Tips for easy, unlimited money

Grand Theft Auto 5 has a number of cheats available in the game to help you transform Los Santos into your own personal playground. But if there's one thing fans really want to know it's cheats for unlimited money. Like in real life, you can just never have enough of it. While there are unfortunately no cheat inputs to grant you unlimited money in GTA 5, we have compiled a list of tips and strategies to help you form a nice little nest egg.

Below is a list of tips, exploits, and other strategies you can use to earn some quick cash in GTA 5:

Investing in the stock market

Investing in the stock market in GTA 5 is probably the easiest way to earn cash since you ultimately control the fate of it. By investing in a certain company and then sabotaging its rival is a quick way to boost the stock you own. We've got a comprehensive guide explaining this entire process, including a list of rival companies, which you can view here.

Lester's Assassination Missions

As you play through the game a man named Lester will offer Franklin some side missions. These assassination missions, if you invest in the correct stocks at a timely manner, can earn you big bucks. The best thing to do is save these missions until after you complete the entire story mode; that way, you are able to invest the most amount of money into the stocks. Check out our entire guide detailing which stocks to invest in during which missions here.

Investing in Merryweather Security after you complete the game

Apparently investing in the Merryweather stock after the main story will earn you some serious cash. Following the completion of the main story, the Merryweather stock will be very low. Invest all of your money in it and after a few days you should see a valuable return.

Robbing armored trucks

Robbing armored vehicles is one of the best ways to earn cash in the beginning hours of the game. Armored trucks randomly appear as blips on the minimap while you are driving around Los Santos. Simply take out the driver (shoot him), then blow open the back doors with a gun or C4. Collecting the money will often earn you over $5,000. Then all you have to do is escape the cops.

ATMs

Another easy way for some quick cash early on, lurk near ATMs and wait for people to visit them. When their transaction is complete, take them out with bare fists or a suppressed weapon to get a bit of cash. It's not the amount you'd get by pulling of a heist, but it's the little transactions that add up.

Purchasing properties

There are 25 properties spread across Los Santos that you can purchase. While not all of these properties will see a return on investement, quite a few of them generate income. Check out our entire list of properties you can buy here.

Save Save Save

Like in real life, the best way to ensure a healthy financial future is to save. There are several ways you can save in GTA 5, a few of which are listed below:

Ammu-Nation Discount

Completing all of the Gun Range challenges will grant you a 15% discount at all Ammu-Nation stores. Getting a gold ranking for all of the challenges will increase the discount to 25% total. And you'll boost your stats too!

Free vehicle repairs

Don't pay to fix your vehicle. Instead, simply save your game and reload it; your vehicle will respawn back into the world fully repaired. It's not the most time efficient method, but it is cost effective.

We're always looking for new ways to save and earn money in Grand Theft Auto 5. If you have any ideas share them with us in the comments below or email us at tips@gamezone.com.
