GTA 5 now available for preload on Xbox One

Grand Theft Auto 5 Pre-Order Edition is now available for pre-order and pre-download on Xbox One, Microsoft announced today. Although you'll still have to wait until the game officially releases on November 18 to play, preloading the game now ensures that you can play it the second it unlocks — without having to wait.

As a reminder, the Pre-Order Edition also includes  $1 million in-game bonus cash to spend across GTA 5 and GTA Online (GTA$500K each for your Story Mode and for your GTA Online in-game bank accounts).

The re-release of GTA 5 on Xbox One promises increased draw distances, 1080p resolution at 30fps, and a range of major visual and technical upgrades that help make Los Santos and Blain County more immersive than ever. Other additions include: new weapons, vehicles, and activities, denser traffic, a new foliage system, additional wildlife, and enhanced damage and weather effects. There's also the all-new First Person Mode (exclusive to Xbox One, PS4, and PC) that lets you explore Los Santos through the eyes of each character.

For fans returning to GTA 5 for the new and improved version, Rockstar is offering a slew of exclusive items in the form of new events and rewards, a murder mystery, new weapons, a wildlife photography challenge, and more.
