GTA 5 PC release petition now has over 500,000 supporters

The petition to bring Grand Theft Auto 5 to PC has now grown close to 575,000 supporters, about 140,000 more signatures from last month. In mid September, just a day after GTA 5's release on Xbox 360 and PS3, the petition had 435,000 signatures.

Rockstar has yet to comment on the growing petition, but it is expected that a PC version will eventually be released. We've all heard the rumors and we've seen the leaks on various retailer websites, so now we're just waiting to hear the official word.

In the meantime, I'm sure Rockstar is enjoying the tremendous success GTA 5 has had on current-gen consoles. Just three days after its console release, the game had earned over $1 billion in sales — so it's a bit understandable why they aren't exactly in a rush to port a PC version.

Either way, if you want to support the cause, head on over to change.org to sign the petition.
