In a new post announcing the winners of the latest contest, developer Rockstar Games announced that Grand Theft Auto 5's movie-making feature, Rockstar Editor, will arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the game's next update.
The post doesn't give a specific date or release window, but Rockstar did make it seem like it's not too far away.
"The upcoming launch of the Rockstar Editor for PS4 and Xbox One as the next update to Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online means the next Rockstar Editor Contest will be the first one with entries across all three platforms – so the creative competition will be fiercer than ever.," Rockstar said.
Rockstar Editor first launched on PC back in April of this year, but the developer has always had plans to bring it to PS4 and Xbox One. Unfortunately, the tool's need for a significant amount of processing power means it will not be coming to the Xbox 360 or PS3 versions.
