Over the weekend, Rockstar Games released a new title update for Grand Theft Auto 5 (version 1.03), which the developer claims improved connection stability with GTA Online on Xbox One and PS4.
"This issue has been resolved as of today," Rockstar said on Saturday after rolling out the update. They added that anyone still experiencing connection problems to check out the troubleshooting guide which players have already argued doesn't fix the problem.
Since GTA 5's release on Xbox One and PS4 last week, users have been experiencing a number of issues plaguing GTA Online. And unfortunately, it appears the update didn't actually resolve the connection problems for everyone. The Rockstar support page is still filled with dozens of complaints from Xbox One and PS4 players posted as recently as today.
Rockstar hasn't responded since the latest update, but will hopefully address the concerns soon.
